Rava (suji) idli

Rava or suji idli is a popular breakfast food originated from South India. It varies from the traditional idli recipe and is made up of mixing rava with curd, eno and salt.
It is easy, quick and simple to make as it does need grinding of lentils and rice and then fermenting but made instantly.
Sharing the recipe how I do it to make delicious idlis.

This recipe serves for 2.

Ingredients:

-1 cup rava(suji)
-3/4 cup curd(sour curd is preferred)
-1 tsp eno (I have used lemon flavor)
-1/2 tsp salt

Method:

-take curd in a bowl.
-add rava and mix well.
-add salt keep mixing by stirring the batter, keep covered for two hours.
Add eno and mix well you will find a net kind of formation on the walls of the bowl.
Grease your idli plates with oil
-put the batter into idli steamer and steam for 15 minutes
-serve hot with sambhar and chutney of your choice.
