Palak kachauri

#flavoredkachauri# One of the most loved Indian food, kachauris are absolutely sensational and ultimate snack or mid day meal that you just won't be able to resist. This is the most popular road side snack of North India. Kachauris have a number of varieties, either made as plain khasta kachuri or made with stuffed Dal and spices. Here, I am sharing recipe of a variety of kachauri-palak kachauri which is crispy and healthy. Ingredients: 1) 1 cup whole wheat flour 2) spinach puree 6 tbsp 3) 1/8 cup melted ghee 4) 1/2 tsp ajwain 5) 1/2 tsp black cumin seeds 6) 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 7) salt to taste 8) water to knead dough 9) oil for deep frying Method: Step 1: Mix wheat flour, ghee, spinach puree, black cumin seeds, black pepper, ajwain and salt in a bowl. Knead into a stiff dough (add water if required). Step 2: Heat sufficient oil in a kadahi. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions, roll it into puris.
