Methi parathas are again a kind of bread made with methi leaves mixed in whole wheat flour along with some spices and is a popular breakfast food of winter season in North India.
These healthy, delicious and aromatic dish are rich in iron, controls blood sugar and helps in constipation.
There are many other recipes you can try with methi leaves. Today I am going to share paratha recipe.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
1) 1.5 cup finely chopped methi leaves
2) 2 cups whole wheat flour
3) 1 tsp black pepper powder
4) 1/2 tsp grated ginger
5) 1/2 tsp ajwain
6) 1/2 tsp black cumin seeds
7) 1 tsp salt
8) 1/2 cup water
Method:
Step 1:
Mix all the ingredients and gradually add water to knead and make a soft dough.
Step 2:
Divide it into equal shaped balls, roll it into triangular shape applying some flour dust.
Step 3:
Put it on the tawa and cook applying ghee by flipping 2-3 times.
Serve hot with sweet tomato chutney, pickle or curd.
