Sattu kachuri

It was a lazy Sunday. Woke up very late.
But cold fresh air and a cup of ginger tea refreshed me.
So, like everyday routine I started my day and turned up to prepare "sattu kachauri" in breakfast.
 Sattu is a flour made up of with a mixture of ground pulses and cereals and and is very popular over a wide area of North India, particularly Bihar.

Sharing recipe: makes 10 kachuris

Ingredients: 
-1 cup wheat flour
-3/4 tsp salt
-1/4 tsp ajwain-black cumin seeds mixed
-1/8 cup ghee
-1/4 cup sattu 
-1/4 tsp black pepper powder
-A pinch of Asafoetida 
-Refined oil for frying
-1/2 cup water 

Method:

-Add salt, ajwain, black cumin seed, ghee in wheat flour, mix well.
- Add water slowly and knead it to make a soft dough, keep it covered for 10 minutes.
-Add a pinch of Asafoetida, salt and Black pepper powder, to the sattu ,mix well and knead to make a soft dough using water.
-Now, divide aata dough in 10 equal round shape balls, and make it as bowl shaped using little ghee on your palm.
- Fill the sattu into above and pack it tightly.
-Roll it in round shape using chakla belan.
-Heat oil in a kadahi and deep fry.

You are ready with your kachuris.
Serve hot with aloo gobhi Curry, chhola or pickle according to your choice.
