There are different varieties of mix paratha you can cook using different vegetables in different proportions. I have a shared earlier the 1st version in my blog now you can try the other one.
Recipe: serves 5 parathas
Ingredients:
-1 cup wheat flour
-1/2 small capsicum chopped finely
-1 small carrot grated
-1/4 cup cabbage chopped in thin shreds
-3 to 4 french beans chopped thinly
-1 tsp ginger grated-1 green chill finely chopped
-salt as per your taste
-1/2 tsp black pepper powder
-a pinch of ajwain and Black cumin seed mixed.
-ghee for cooking
Method:
-Mix all the ingredients well and adding little water knead to make a dough (harder than usual dough as vegetables leave water making it soft).
-Divide the dough into 5 equal size round balls.
-Sprinkle little flour on your chakla and roll into a triangular shape.
-Heat tawa and put it over it ,flip over 2-3 times applying ghee till it is cooked properly.
And paratha are ready within 15 minutes.
Tips- You can add different vegetables in different proportions according to your taste and availability.
You can have it in dinner and can go in lunch boxes too.
